JOIN US FOR SOME GOOD CLEAN FUN!
YOUNG FRIENDS OF THE BRANDYWINE'S
21ST ANNUAL BRANDYWINE RIVER CLEANUP
SATURDAY, APRIL 12, 2014
Join the Young Friends of the Brandywine to cleanup 10 miles of the Brandywine from Lenape Bridge to Thompson's Bridge. We have removed more than 30 tons of trash and debris and hundreds of tires from the banks of the Brandywine since 1993.

9:30 AMTeams depart to designated areas
12:00 PMLunch at the Brandywine Conservancy
 
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
  • Bring your own sports bottle. Water & other beverages will be available for you to fill your own sports bottle. 
  • Volunteers are encouraged to wear hats, long pants, water-proof shoes and sunscreen.
  • Gloves, trash bags and lunch will be provided.
  • Bring the family and groups  are welcome.
  • This event is appropriate for children over age 7. 
  • Please register by clicking here include the number children and adults in your party so that we can be sure to have enough supplies.
  • This event is held rain or shine.

Young Friends of the Brandywine Conservancy is a membership group and volunteer committee of young adults dedicated to furthering the goals of the Brandywine Conservancy and its two operating programs, The Environmental Management Center and Brandywine River Museum.

By informing other young adults and their families about the Conservancy, by involving them in our programs, and by soliciting our peers for contributions and planned gifts, we seek to develop future volunteer leaders of the Conservancy, expand and diversify the Conservancy's membership base, and raise funds for its operating programs and for ongoing Young Friends activities.
